Prayer for 59th Convention

God of new beginnings, you are always making a way where we cannot yet see one. As we gather for convention, bless our work and our words. Give us clarity as we speak honestly about our finances, courage as we build new structures to support our churches, and gratitude for every hand that serves our camp and our common life. Guide us along the Arc of Renewal you have set before us, bending us toward hope, toward justice, and toward one another. Steady the anxious heart, open the tired hand, and remind us that renewal is your work in us, not ours alone. We ask this in the name of Christ, our beginning and our end. Amen.
