Women’s Camp has grown to be a state treasure! Year after year women return for this weekend of rest, laughter, song and friendship. To read a book, run a mile, or just sit in silence, Paradise point offers itself to you and promises renewed energy and direction.

Paradise Point Mountain Adventure Camp

Mountain Adventure Camp

July 29 - August 1, 2008

A group of 20–25 campers (7th Grade and older) and counselors, plan, prepare, and meet the challenge of this 5-day trek to an Idaho mountain summit. Carrying packs from 15 to 85 pounds and divided in small hiking groups this adventurous team experiences the wilderness as well as learns the necessary skills related to mountain climbing. Daily meditative worship has proven to be a highlight of this not-to-be missed camp.

Some reminders about this camp:

Registration and Health forms must be filled out and turned in to the diocesan office, even if you pay online.

Registration packet is available for downloading on the Paradise Point website.

Bus transportation is NOT available for this camp.

A non-refundable deposit of $50 or the entire registration fee is due at time of registration. Any balance due will be billed to you 4 weeks prior to the first day of camp.

If you choose to pay the deposit online, you will be sent a e-bill for the balance due.

Though the next page says you are registered for this event, your registration is not complete until we recieve payment and the completed registration and health forms at the Diocesan Center.

Paradise Point Intermediate Camp

Intermediate Camp

July 22 - July 27, 2008

Watch out, here they come. By the time campers have reached Grades 5 and 6, they arrive at camp by the busload with energy and expectations. Eager to climb, to swim, to sing, and to “capture the flag”, intermediate campers grow to a better self understanding through the challenges of each day at camp. Sunrise to sunset, in worship or while island hopping, these campers bless Paradise Point with their joy and desire for life.

Bus transportation is available to and from this camp for a fee of $30 per camper. If you choose to use this service, please ensure you make your bus stop selections on the registration form.

Paradise Point - Primary Camp

Primary Camp

Tuesday, July 15 - Sunday, July 20, 2008

Campers entering Grades 3 and 4 join in the excitement of going to camp on their own for the first time. Young voices singing around the campfire, at chapel or before meals reveal the innocence and the potential of this eager group of campers. The five-night camp is full of fun, games, and adventure and also makes time for quiet discussion, storytelling and make-believe.
